Your telegram No. 1236. Hedgcock certified unfit for further service suffering from paraphrenia. He was appointed 17 1938 on

agreement. I recommend retirement on medical grounds under paragraph 6 of the agreement and payment of full salary to effective date. Subsequently/no pay leave until fit to travel when free passage home and leave earned will be granted. In accordance with General Order he is liable to pay half hospital charges to date of boarding out! Liability thereafter will have to be considered.
